Trailer for sale or rent

If you aren’t in the book business, the phrase “book trailer” probably sounds like two nouns accidentally thrown together, like “crayon moose” or “blender truck.”

It sort of still does to me and I have a book trailer. Turnstone publisher Jamis Paulson created a very simple but clever trailer that captures the spirit of the book and my protagonist’s habit of making to-do lists. I don’t know if it will generate hundreds of thousands of hits, like the book trailer for Gary Shteyngart’s new novel Super Sad True Love Story, but then, unlike Gary Shteyngart, I can’t get James Franco, Jay McInerny and half of literary New York to do guest appearances.

I don’t know if trailers help to sell books, but click on the link below. You’ll boost my self-esteem. And maybe Jamis’s too.
